She holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, graduating Cum Laude, and a Masters degree in Financial Management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business in New York. She has over 17 years of global financial, strategy and project improvement experience, and until May 2015, spent 3 years as a Senior Aide to Nigeria’s Honorable Minister of Power covering Investments, Finance & Donor Relations, where she led the charge in attracting investors and investments into the Nigerian Power Sector, especially in the Post privatization era, and provided strategic recommendations around activities and areas critical to the Sector’s Investment growth. She has tremendous experience, an outstanding track record of delivery, and an astute ability to work across teams which she gained from her 12 years as a General Electric (GE) Executive in the U.S, where she was a Vice President, working in the largest GE Capital Americas business. Prior to that, she worked for Stop and Shop Inc. (now Ahold International), Quincy, Massachusetts as a Warehousing Accountant. She has worked as a Tax and Legal Services Associate at Arthur Andersen LLP and also as an Internal Auditor at Northeastern University. She is passionate about environmental and waste management, women and youth empowerment, as well as entrepreneurial development.
She is also an Exco member of Waste Management Society of Nigeria (WAMASON), Abuja chapter; Associate member of WIMBIZ (Women in Management, Business & Public Service), a Nigerian NGO, the lead coordinator for the Green Coalition of Abuja and is a celebrated speaker and mentor especially to girls and women.
