Chanja Datti, in its drive towards the successful implementation of the recently adopted Sustainable Development Goals, especially in the areas of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education to promote lifelong opportunity for all, and tackling climate change; has launched an initiative to help give Nigerian students aid towards boosting their educational capacity while also promoting plastic recycling and reuse as units of environmental sustainability.
Goal: Raise N500,000 to support 100 Secondary school students.
Why: It is geared at giving self-motivated financial aid to students towards securing access to good education and building their capacity, while also promoting plastic recycling and reuse as units of environmental sustainability. Who: SS2 or SS3 students (especially female students) interested in furthering their education to tertiary institutions. How: For every student that enrolls in this initiative, they will need to collect 5,000 PET bottles over the span of 3 months and a stipend of N5,000 will be provided towards procuring their national examination forms.
- Provide 100 students with resources to meet their educational needs by offering sponsorship towards writing national examinations like WAEC, NECO, GCE and JAMB.
- Promote plastic recycling and reuse as units of environmental sustainability.
